Debbie and her husband, Ron, decided to relocate to Florida in 2000 when they enjoyed a vacation in the Daytona Beach area and specifically the Spruce Creek Fly-in Airpark community. They built a hangar home in which Ron custom-built his personal RV-8, which he currently flies with the Maverick Aerobatic Team.

Debbie enjoys flying, riding motorcycles, aerobics and tennis.
